About the MAD Crew

Making a difference, one event at a time

How we started

A group of us ladies had been attending Oaks Day luncheons together for many years to do our little bit to give back to the community. After a luncheon in 2018, we had a discussion over a couple of wines and decided that we would create our own luncheon and partner each year with a charity of our choice.

There are so many worthwhile causes that we could choose so we decided that each year we would select a new charity partner to support to really Make A Difference.

Our goal is to host an annual charity event - an Oaks Day Lunch at Encore St Kilda, to grow each year raising money and awareness of worthwhile charities while enjoying the company of our wonderful female friends.

“The Mad Hatter: Have I gone mad?

Alice: I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”

— Alice in Wonderland
